Air Nailer help please

My now son-in-law has borrowed me his aldi air nailer, it says on the box it takes 18 guage staples, I am building a chicken run for my lad and i need to tack the 25mm hole size chicken wire onto the 2"x2" softwood frame, what staple size would be best please lads?, and lasses

I would take it to your local nut and bolt merchant As there are many that wont fit! I use bostic (maybe lx) in mine

I bought some from Machine Mart, the ones MK refers to are probably Bostitch ones.

18 guage by 20 to 25mm long would be fine.

They do need to be the right width for your nailer.

I'd just buy some wire staples and hammer them in. If you buy them for a nailer you'll end up with a box 5k of them

edit: now in English:
the back of the frame to the run is a bit close to the fence, not enough swing for the hammer, when i opened the air nailer box there was already some staples in there so just need the wire to arrive now, also pinched a couple more inches clearance from the fence to get at the back

Well I finally got the chicken run finished, so back to metal work, there are four laying hens alltogether two white a golden ranger and a black something or other, we got an egg off one the first day we got them home lol, here's a picture of the new girls in there new home, for anyone interested

Ace a few of my mates have chickens. And spending the first 19yrs of my life on a Pheasant, Duck, Goose, Guinea Fowl and others and ... Chicken. Poultry Farm.
