Air line fittings

I need a new 15m / 50’ air line; I bought a PCL 5m superflex hose with XF fittings but it’s too short for my needs - my fault.

I’ve been looking at the Flexzilla hose as recently bought by @8ob but they appear to be NPT thread, is this easily adaptable to BSP or do I look elsewhere? Also on the JB tools website they list list three hoses at 3/8: x 50m but I can’t figure out the difference, can anyone clarify for me please?

You can buy NPT to BSP adapters, they aren't all that cheap though for what they are. Some of the threads are very similar.
Or you could cut off/remove the existing fittings and replace with a suitable BSP hose barb, which may be cheaper and less bulky.

There are other brands available as well with similar no memory hose. I'm particularly happy with Alfagomma 185AA

at 50 meters id go bigger bore. id go half inch. no loss of cfm

When you are buying this hose be extremely careful as to which one you are actually buying if you don't need ends you could quite well end up with them as they are one of the selections. I bought some 50 foot lengths of 1/2" bore and could do with another but I am disappointed to see that is no longer an option. Might save and buy the 100 foot length instead.

As a person who deals with the weirdest and most obscure threads almost daily, I never noticed there was something awry I just put a couple wraps of PTFE tape and screwed the fittings on, they have been fine for a good few years now and don't leak.

I too will put a tapered NPT thread into a BSP adapter - I thread it in - few threads at a time and then back off (like using a tap or thread chaser) - when it fits - I add liquid PTFE and send it home forever...
