Air dryer.

Hi All,

I am new to the forum and to my job. I have a domnick hunter air dryer on site that has not been operated for some time and need someone to overhaul it for me. I have spoken to domnick hunter they are telling me they are more than capable to do the job but seem slightly expensive. i know they are the manufacturer but is there anyone else out there that can do this?

If anyone can help or has experience with people please let me know!!

You could try compressed air specialists, such as Thorite.

Why do you think it needs overhauling?.
Look on the data plate what gas is inside the unit. R22 R134a?
It may have tripped out. If the radiator is blocked or the fan has failed the dryer will trip out and stop working. Is the water drain working.

Most refrigeration companies can work on that side of the dryer(some set the unit to run at too lower temperature).

Sorry for the confusion, The dryer is a Desiccant type and i think this needs replacing. It is not a refrigerant dryer. Thanks.

Which model is it.
Some have screw in desiccant cartridges.
Which ever version its a easy job.
Its the junior engineers at our company that do these dryers.
