Air Chisels

Hi,

I'm looking at buying an air chisel but do I need round or hex shank hammer/chisels will either do and will I be able to buy new chisels is needed if I go for hex?

depends on air chisel ,u buy ,i've used both types but are normally machine specific,personally i prefer not to have the round shank chisels so chisel stays in line with the gun ,i'm sure others will have different opinions maybe round shanks are good for certain jobs ,not for what i've done so far though,hope this helps

That was what I was thinking but looking about the only spare chisels I could see were round shank. I'll go with what will do the job best and go for hex.
