Bit off the wall this one but I know there are some really knowledgeable guys on this forum who have helped me out before.
I am wanting to produce agricultural lime and poultry feed (sized 0-2, 0-3 and 0-5mm depending on customer requirements) at a rate of 10MT/hr from 0-40mm limestone.
I believe I need a simple system, feed hopper, vibratory feeder, mill, vibratory screen, dust control and packaging plant. (Should there be a cyclone in this flowchart somewhere instead of the secondary screen?)
Anyway my initial problem is whether the mill should be an Impact Crusher or a Hammer Crusher; I am of the understanding that a Hammer Crusher (Mill) has replaceable lower screen grids which are changed out according to the product size required. An Impact Crusher appears not to have this facility.
Am I right or just totally ill informed? I have tried to Google the subject and just became even more confused.
