Well a poor wee Hermes lady hefted what looked like an RPG at first from her car today. Expecting a "surprise" from Simon I gingerly unpacked the tube from the top.
After a foot of wadding I cam across my first treat - a packet of nommy Haribo
Digging further I then got a packet of lovely strawberry bon-bons.
Then came the surprise, an empty hob nob wrapper! Fortunately it had a bottle of badgery beer underneath so I thought that I would forgive him.
Digging under yet more wadding I came upon a note. "Awww", thought I, "a happy little note from my friend Simon". I had to unwrap the metre long package from the other end as my little arms weren't long enough to reach.
So I unwrap it and what do I get? The inner card tray from the aforementioned hob nobs!
But then...
I noticed that the wadding was too heavy.
Yay! I found the hob nobs! NOm nom nOm ^_^
What a sterling package Simon, had me chuckling for ages and I'm about three nobs down now
And to all the folks at home: the silly sausage wouldn't take a penny for postage, the tube or his time; despite my very earnest protestations. An absolute star

Buddy if you can't help someone out in this weary world then we really are doomed. Lightening the tone, I thought it would give you a laugh, digging for your treats like a hound with a Kong chew toys with the treats inside

Kids? ex sergeant-major here sonny- you mean you did that intending to hide the Hob Nobs from the wife n kids, but the kids caught you at it, so slippin the HNs in your jacket, you told em there was a mickey mouse in the shed as a diversion.
If they find the empty HN packet, you'll say the mouse ate em.
