you can but small tubes of 1k filler (stopper) for a few quid they're about the size of the tomato paste ones. There an article about using them in the paint section on here
sometimes you've just got to give up and buy what's needed, trying to do a job on the cheep sometimes ends up costing you more in the long runIs there any decent 2k filler primer that can be bought in a rattle can ? The frame i am painting has quite a bit of pitting on a couple of the tubes and i want to fill them. I don't want to have to buy a litre can of filler primer and hardener.

2K stopper is far more efficient and doesn't shrink like the single pack does.
I didn't know 2k stopper was available, i used the cellulose one before and found it shrank.
dont even go there its hard as hell to sand down its plastic metalWould something like a thin smear of Devcon be better for pitting?
It shrinks and rings up, I havnt used for for about 35 years !!!
Dolphin glaze or Top Stop gold is what I use but to be honest if you use a decent filler like Upol fantastic you won't have pinholes.
Aerosols are something like 90% thinner so will never build up.
ive never got on with stoppers and glazes , if its that bad skim it with a quality filler first
It files down easily enough and it sticks to steel like s*** to a blanket!dont even go there its hard as hell to sand down its plastic metal![]()
Yep thats what i'll do, blob on some good quality filler before i epoxy prime the frame. The pitting isn't terribly deep but there is enough of it.
You should epoxy prime first then key and apply any filler needed
