Thanks for the link, this would be my preferred route by buying from a shop, yes more expensive, trouble with Fleabay and the like is that if the machine is faulty it's a possible issue to get this resolved.These are decent little welders, I still use mine on sheet metal even though I have access to more capable machines:

They can be improved with the addition of a cooling fan, better torch and of course better earth clamp(!) as well.
You’ll want an auto darkening helmet as well and some decent overalls and gloves.
Finally and without wishing to Labour the point, I’ll reiterate what the others have said; you have zero chance of doing what you want to do with an ARC welder.
