I have started cutting out the rust and was wondering if i could cut through this web under the floor as part of the floor above is quite rusted. Have been practicing seam stitch and plug welding and feel quite confident now, am planning on butt seam welding it as that is what I have been informed is the only way to be MOT compliant, I noticed that on the upper strip of the arch there are these strange holes and dimples are these plug welds and if so can I then plug weld the top part of the repair patch over them and butt weld the patch to the floor. Any advice would be very much appreciated cheers.
^ again MOT view depends if you are replicating an existing seam or replacing a panel /section(s) which duplicate an existing seam and if they are considered structural
