Afternoon Gents.
Ive been tasked with welding up a cylinder head, customer states its an old, really rare volvo engine and sourcing a new head is nigh on impossible.
1 of the 4 ports is exceptionally bad, there is really heavy corrosion in the entire port, both on the floor and roof.
I've started to weld it all up, but im struggling to get any deeper than 1" into the port, there are some spots around 2" up the port that need attention that i just cannot get to. Ive tried an bent tungsten, but found gas coverage was an issue.
any suggestions?
