I'm thinking of restoring an old car. It's been lying for a long time. Someone had started and gave up.
I could only do a bit at a time, so my question is how do you go about stopping the bits you have done from rusting?
If a panel had some pitting but was still strong do you clean it with a wire wheel and coat with rust converter and then some sort of primer?
Would you strip out all fillers from the previous repairs attempt even if it looks OK?
Is bonda zinc primer suitable to stop my repairs from rusting?
