What value ish is the following milling machine worth, a friend may need to sell it and has no idea what its worth, I cant see and model or serial numbers on it, it runs on single phase is big and heavy and looks like its in good condition, unfortunately the operator is no longer with us its all a bit sad.

Those are well regarded in the Model Engineering world as small, capable machines are rare in the more affordable price bracket. They have proven to be reliable and fairly accurate machines with the one major drawback that if you need to raise or lower the head for different tooling the spindle to work register is lost and needs to be reset. I had one for 20 years and after much use I sold it for more than it cost me new. At that age it could be Taiwanese and many people seem to prefer those. I never saw much difference although at that time they were better finished than their Chinese counterparts.
As Slim_Boy_Fat indicated they are popular and can fetch a reasonable price if in good condition. I guess somewhere between £500 and £750 might be possible with the right buyer. Even one in fairly poor condition might be in the £350-500 region as they are very refurbish able in a home workshop with normal hand scrapers etc. and spares are still available or adaptable.
