Advice on my settings

So I was trying my new mig welder on some 3mm angle, started half settings as i normally do and produced these welds,

The reverse side shows a heat line on the back but no blob on either side of the material

Anyone any advice as to more/less power or more/less wire feed?

If you were melting through that it would be too hot, seeing the 'heat line' says its probably ok. Maybe turn your wire down slightly, scribe a line so you can follow it to get a straight bead, keep a steady travel speed and stick out and it should come out fine. When you have the hang of that try a lap joint or but weld. Practice makes perfect

To my eye those weld lines seem a little proud of the surface indicating a slightly cool weld puddle. The heat penetration on the reverse side could be a little more defined as well. Try turning up the heat a notch and then balancing it with the wire speed.

Yep, try more heat.

Also try and keep a nice short stick out, as close as possible. Should bump up the amperage and wet the puddle out a bit more if you drop the wire speed a little too
