Rural folk are disadvantaged again, all these schemes are thought up by city folk….high speed broad band for all, yea right, as long as you live in the villages on the main route. Public transport, yea right as long as you live on a viable bus route. We have neither by the way. Electric car chargers, yea but only once they upgrade the power lines to the village.I made that comment and I live in the middle of nowhere. Seven miles from the nearest town. I need personal transport but the future is a long time coming. You do seem very narrow minded where the future is concerned. We will probably both be in the ground and not see the results of current affairs. It rarely has an effect in the short term but the long term is bleak for personal transport.
All these schemes need to start somewhere……but non of them will suit all the people all the time!
