Going to do some work for some family. They are moving in to a house that has an aerial on the roof and a coax which runs down the outside wall, through a hole ( a vent, actually) and straight to the TV.
They want to add an aerial socket in the bedroom right above. There is loads of spare coax so is it acceptable to drill through the house wall into the bedroom, pull some slack on the coax, cut it, poke both of the cut ends through the wall and connect both ends to the same fitting on the aerial socket faceplate within a wall-mounted patress box?
