when u get called out as many times as I do to water damage with leaking plastic joints u will change your mind. I wouldn't have it fitted freeThere's nothing wrong with pex and hot water
I'm sure you know how easy it is for someone not familiar with the fittings to think they've pushed the pipe fully home when, in fact, it needs that extra shove to get it into the O ring. Lack of lube usually.
Aye, there's nothing like a drop of lube to help shove your pipe through the O-ring.
i know most plumbers use plastic pipe these days (but the main reason is speed not how good they are)
very interesting and not a normal occurrence, but understand the issues, it could cause.too many problems with push fit especially when the floor sanders vibrate the joints
TBH think its opertator error but the leaks have started after the floor sanding and the boss insisting he had done everything rightvery interesting and not a normal occurrence, but understand the issues, it could cause.

Nobody say "OH MATRON" like Kenneth Williams----- HE HE!
The plastic push-fits are easy to put together wrongly - you need to use a pipe insert and make sure the pipe ends are .......
Might I just say first off I had a conservatory business for many years so I am not guessing here.
A rad off you current central heating is not a good choice at all.
Forget building regs though nobody is looking
Your boiler was rated for the rads on the system adding a big large demand one is like trying to tow a caravan with a micra
Your boiler will be past its best days?
A conventional rad is too slow and relies on a better degree of insulation
Conservatories are often not in constant use - why have the rad pumping out heat when your likely not going to need it and if you turn it on off it will not bring g the room up to temp fast enough to be of much use.
Go get a proper conservatory heater or an electric fan heater or electric fire
