Possibly.Is the dark coloured bit a band of threadlock?
I have identical lube points on my milling machine.I have some questions about lubrication that I have not been able to figure out.
There are three, as we call them alemite grease fittings (zerks), that I can not determine if they are to be greased or oiled as Bridgeport turret mills require. I have attached pictures showing the locations. Number 1, on mine, does not seem to be connected to the adjacent oiler fitting and is through to the "backside" of the gib. Number 2, I assume feeds some bearing in the housing behind the thrust bearing. Number 3, best guess wound be oil to top off the gearbox for the table feed.
