Acceptable or not?

as people might've noticed, I've been helping with a Cummins conversion into a 110 these past few weeks. These are pictures of the alternator mount supplied as part of a conversion kit, and frankly I was appalled at the state of the welds. Fair enough it'll hold, but to me that's not the point, I'd be embarrassed to send something looking like this to a customer, especially at the price paid!
The last pic is of the modified bottom water hose, complete with a pinprick hole in the weld, and the inside of the tube full of swarf where the drills burst thru

You should threaten your supplier that you're gonna post pics of their shoddy work on a welding forum somewhere.

They are terrible, even a blind man could do better.

Luckily not my supplier, otherwise I'd've been delivering them back myself. They're what a friend received

Or are you trying to tell me there's something I can't see underneath the pigeon droppings?

I think it's a case of the pigeon being too far away.

ill be honest, i nearly turned inside out when that came out of the box, and i didnt know whether to laugh or cry when he told me how much he paid
