It is just another indication of what you are actually getting.a chord I expect, a plug top no.What is wrong with no power cord? my forklift charger didn't either I thought that was common with 3 phase as so many different plug options.

I would not even bother with the RTech for the spec you want.
If I was in the same shoes looking for that spec I'd of been arranging a trip to go and view that stel murex machine. And if all was good I'd put 2 grand cash in his hand. That's just me though I do hope what you go for works out.
I hear you and appreciate that concern but I'd put big money on that unit out lasting your previous suggestions by a long way. The stel machines of that era were bomb proof and such awsome quality. I'd guess when that package was new you would of paid 6-7 grand for it back then.I agree but if it goes wrong it is a lot of money down the drain. Modern electronics aren't always that repairable sadly.
If it were me, id put d type mcbs into the welder circuit and use the migatronicI bought an old Migatronic - lovely machine but needed too much power. I can run my 300amp inverter arc off my 16amp 3 phase supply. The migatronic kept tripping things without even welding - the big transformer machines need about 60 amps!
Thats certainly where R-tech has done their homework, by buliding customer confidence and especially by aiming their products at the lower/mid range of the market where many buyers have already shaken the guts out of the piggy bank,If my maths are correct, thats around £100 more than returning the rtech
I doubt Hans aus deutschland will walk you through setting up the machine over the phone, and answer all the other questions a beginner will have either.im not a fan of the mark up they charge but they do provide a proper serviceThats certainly where R-tech has done their homework, by buliding customer confidence and especially by aiming their products at the lower/mid range of the market where many buyers have already shaken the guts out of the piggy bank,
knowing you're only a phone call and with the combination of free shipping back to the dealer for a speedy repair or replacement has pulled the buyers in for sure and recommendations to others,
Good marketing.
I bought two machines from them.one of them was grand, second one didn't work right on arrival.i managed to fix it but I have an electrical background. They would have fixed it but at my shipping costs.I have no doubt British dealers provide excellent service but double the price seems rather OTT. The rest of Europe sells similar Chinese machines with much smaller markups - I am sure some of them provide reasonable service as well.

HALF the price compared to similar machines in the UK - £600 vs £1200
They have excellent feedback from UK customers as well.
Looks like you have to pay VAT on that as well though, so not quite as cheap as it first seems, but I could be mistaken.
Not a bad price if your on a budget, though how the warranty would work is anyone's guess? It looks very similar to the rtech unit.
ah ok I was looking at it on my phone and it showed a vat field, I wasn't sureVAT is paid through out the EU so there will be no taxes to pay.
