Never used my dynasty on a generator,Cheers Chevy like the sound of the multi voltage on the miller what Kvh does it require for generator use ?? Ps what is the actual top amps then 180 ' ??
I would expect the miller 200 would put out a true 200 amps. They all say generator compatible but be careful if your going to do that. Use a higher rating than the advise in the literature and I wouldn't do it all the time. I don't care what the manufacturers say electric welders and generators can be a bad mix if things ain't spot on.Cheers Chevy like the sound of the multi voltage on the miller what Kvh does it require for generator use ?? My magicwave is only 200 amp output and does everything I need very well. 6mm Alu from cold is about its maximum. I'm a big fan of Ewm. I've not used the Tetrix but had a lot of arctime with its older brother the triton 220 acdc and it coped with day in day out use wonderfully. The 2200mw again I've not had the pleasure but it's gonna be great as the old 2000 I have is everybit as good as the old tritons.I read ya post wrong Richard , I see what ya mean 200 amp miller verses 220 fronius , got a quote for the fronius £2880 plus Vat miller £ 2600 best I've seen the tetrix is £3100
I have the rehm tiger 210 DC only unit. It's a lovely little compact thing. Smaller and lighter than any of the other units stated above. Would hate to have to work on the thing though as it's very tightly packed in there to keep the size down. All of the machines mentioned are more than decent performers. I would add to your list the Kemppi 2300 MLS AC/DC with the ACX panel as well as the Rehm Tiger 210 AC/DC.
I own the Kemppi and I am very pleased with its performance.
