Hi guys,
Had a good read of the forum and its a great source of information.
I'm looking to use an arc welder as a power source for my Kemppi TU20 ac\dc Tig head unit. Does any one know of any arc welders in the 160-200amp range that provide a 30v ac output? I have seen this head unit working with pickhill bantam before. I'm not sure that I need all those amps as its just small alu stuff that i'm going to be welding. So..could one of the hobby air cooled arc welders provide a ac output (rather than dc- or dc+)? they are a lot cheaper and ALOT lighter!!!
thanks!
