I will not say a word.
Everyday stuff for me, my team etc.
We see this so often we can not or do or bat an eyebrow.
but he will blame. or try to, some one else.
I want some of those shelves they look well sturdy.Unfortunately the world we live in now requires that we are warned at length by the media about how petrol is flammable....knives are sharp, coffee is hot, there are nuts in nuts etc.
Shame about his shed mind, looks like it came apart quite neatly -should screw back together ok
its not the petrol that's the issue, it's the dodgy wiring......that wasn't his brightest of idea's
they also fail to say what it was stored in surely if in a proper container with the lid screwed on this would not happen
i do have one can of fuel but it is stored out the back of the house under cover but out side so any fumes can just waft away seamsthe best to me but any reasons not to do this ? @The_Yellow_Ardvark
I like how the fire service said it was "a potentially devastating incident".
Like earlier today, I put water in the kettle and turned it on - potentially I could've been burnt and electrocuted (if I put my hand inside the kettle holding a knife and stabbed the element).
Or that time I crossed the road - potentially I could've been run over if that car hadn't stopped at the zebra crossing.
Or right now, the telly is on - potentially it might explode in my face.
Best sell everything and stay in bed and hope I don't potentially starve to death...
Surely that was what was the guy who owned the shed was missing. Petrol & electricity on their own did not create the explosion but the lack of understanding & awareness of how bringing them together was the real issue. I agree a BLEV explosion is something to behold.I've done a Hazard Awareness Course at RAF Spadeadam, I was amazed at the size of explosion 7kg of propane can make.
