I needed to drill a 22mm hole through 50mm solid bar the other day, so I decided to finally get round to rigging up a mag drill setup I'd be putting off for a while.
The main aim of the setup is to give me a rotating vice for easily drilling angled holes, but it works for horizontal drilling too, obviously.

That's a better pic. Still more to do...latch, hinges, dragonflies, butterfly, hosta leaves on the hinge posts.
Yeah the drill pedestal was off an old Elliot Progress that went kaput, so I hung onto the base & scrapped the top gubbins. Then I found on marketplace a knackered pillar drill with the same size column so I bought it for the same of the table & then binned the rest.
