A respected welding supplies company is selling these for £350 obo on ebay and even that price surprised me.

I bought one like that, came with 4m tig torch, 3m Stick and return. Cost me NZ $100 + shipping. landed in NZ for about GB£60 . Had it for 4 or 5 years now. Thought it was going to be crap only got it for the stick welding but it's good at tig too. Looks same as one in photo but yellow. Rated 160 amps.
Gas valve leaked inside but not the end of the world fixed it and now it's a great addition to my collection, instructions where terrible.
For heavy use it gets a bit hot and stops, but for diy it works well. I use it out side on extension leads, around the farm, so far so good.

One of my spam folders has nearly set on fire with the amount of rubbish flying into it this week, it started exactly one day after I gave the mail addy to Staysure Insurance for a quote, the swines obviously sold it on super fast.
Luckily it's one of my 'throwaway' emails used for that exact reason.

Saga holidays did the same for a while ago, I was at an exhibition at the NEC & I was 'badgered' into doing a draw for a free holiday. I don't normally bother as I know nothing in this life is free, but they kept on at me, so in the end I did. I should have walked off, as they sold my details to loads of companies, I got rubbish emails & phone calls for months. Because of this I won't deal with Saga for anything, even if their insurance etc. was half price I don't want to know.

If I am in discussion with any of the big firms or filling out details online where it won't continue until they have a contact telephone number I simply give them my old now extinct mobile number.
If I then go ahead with whatever I was asking about and think it's important they have my real number I just ring them and tell them I have a new number, done it for years with no problems at all and even better no cold calling when I am eating my dinner.

Hi, There's this site to create an email address to give out to receive what you're after then close it. When I first came across it it would stay live for 1 hour then close but it appears they've changed it. Could be useful.

I "accidentally" transpose a couple of digits in my phone number for the same reason

I bought one last week. Cheapest I found a pico 162 elsewhere was £495, cant remember if that included vat or not either so 350 notes inc vat and delivery, from a known company with a good reputation is a bargain!
