A question for people in the know

I was talking with work colleagues today about our welding fume problems & about fume extraction at source. I am doing some research to put a case forward to my boss for a new system as our extractor fans are in thr roof which means we still breath in the fumes before they get extracted. So I came across the nederman extraction systems but I can't find any prices.
So my question is, does anyone know how much a system like this would Cocteau fully installed? Thanks in advance!

It's a bit of a how long is a piece of string question. Might be best talking to your local welding equipment supply company or Nederman direct they have always been helpful to me

we use a homemade unit in work from 5 soldering iron extractor units, all on a round bracket above the welding bench and then a bit of sheet steel formed to make a funnel to the pipe that takes the fumes away.

it works well aslong as there are only 1 or 2 people welding

We need an on torch fume extractor for all our welders as we don't weld at a bench, also need to extract grinding dust and swarf from drills ect.

ah fair enough. i wouldn't advise mounting our system on each torch, be a bit difficult to weld with it on there

We use on the shop floor the same type as a car garage extractor unit with a biggest funnel thing on the end and a big magnetic base. Works well. and have some fixed ones for the bays like a big cooker canopy.

Breathing swarf from drills?!?! ouch!.

We use on the shop floor the same type as a car garage extractor unit with a biggest funnel thing on the end and a big magnetic base. Works well. and have some fixed ones for the bays like a big cooker canopy.

Lol, need extraction to take away swarf fron drills, lathes, & saws.
We don't weld at a bench as we work on bigish fabrications, so on torch extraction is needed, also for grinders and plasma cutter.
