I do like a Cincinnati, first machines I repaired though they’re not easy to strip down like a k&t mill. They thought about maintenance

I set/operated a vertical mill very much like this along with its horizontal brother ( actually a far more versatile machine) for a while earlier in my life, whilst I slowly discovered that working in a factory didn't suit me. EITB apprenticeship a useful thing to have under your belt though. I can still convert imperial fractions into thousandths of an inch at the drop of a hat.... I had the labourer taking wheel barrow loads of chips away on some jobs.
