Lost a woodruff key of the Leadscrew gear shaft.

Looked on ebay and prices range from £3 to £4.50,wow! thats expensive for a little piece of half moon metal.

If you can still turn without it, turn up a disk of EN8 and saw it in half

Try your local bearing factor/supplier, should be much more than a couple of quid probably only a quid.

Thanks,Maddy for the offer.....its ok now I seems to think it was a halfmoon shapy one,turns out its a bar type.

Got some piece o square metal near enough the width and ground it down on the grinder to fit the keyway.
