a little late on introdutions

I joined this site last week and I am just getting around to introducing myself.My name is douglas major and I am from the state of kentucky in the united states of america,we are kinda made fun of here in the states as being barefoot hillbilly's from the state of kentucky and I am proud of it(lol).I have a lincoln 225 ac stick welder and a cheap made in china mig welder.I am a certified mig repair welder for a parts factory to toyota motor company in georgetown.Kinda shy but love anything that has to do with welding and fabricating things out of metal.This is one of the best websites that I have found and am proud to be a member of it!Thanks for having me....till the next problem arises....later.....doug (dugndeep)

I don't weld the whole car either just the steel frame for the seats,actually the robots weld the seats,I just repair the ones that the robots mess up(lol)

Which seat company?, I work for Keiper (Recaro) looking after the robots that miss the welds to keep the production welders busy

I weld the pedalboxes, normal ones and driving school ones....both for european and uk cars!
Plenty of work then! robots do mess up quite a lot!
