im back on this again,
ive been using my welder with good results ive been building my race car project
but today i came to weld some ally well an intercooler to be precise i set it to AC and set the current to quite high as it was fairly thick it welded for about 20 seconds and popped the fuse i was running it through a 3 pin with a pair of caravan sockets to step the cable down.ive been looking on the net trying to find out any info on my tig but so far have found none.i want to put a proper socket for it in my garage but dont know the input amps of the welder is.
i was thinking of getting a 16amp blue socket put in but dont have any spare trips in the main fuse board for it to go in but dont want to do this if it requires a bigger input
