Just out of curiosity, why did you use a white gelcoat to make the mould? are you intending to use dark colours for the pulls?

No reason, I wanted black or orange but the guy who ordered it got white so we used it...

That will be a problem if you want to use white gelcoat for the product as you wont be able to see if you missed any spots when gelcoating, that's the reason they use black or orange as it shows up any thin or missed bits well. If you make any more moulds you can add gelcoat pigment to the white to change the colour.
