Haze:- "It will please the court to know that although the said ladder was indeed a height of 20 feet, it was in fact a wooden ladder, unlike the aluminium ladder owned by the accused. I call on the jury therefore to find this man guilty of blatant inaccuracy and generalisation, and be given ten years hard labour! The prosecution rests."
* Lawyer: "Doctor, before you performed the autopsy, did you check for a pulse?"
* Witness: "No."
* Lawyer: "Did you check for blood pressure?"
* Witness: "No."
* Lawyer: "Did you check for breathing?"
* Witness: "No."
* Lawyer: "So, then it is possible that the patient was alive when you began the autopsy?"
* Witness: "No."
* Lawyer: "How can you be so sure, Doctor?"
* Witness: "Because his brain was sitting on my desk in a jar."
* Lawyer: "But could the patient have still been alive nevertheless?"
* Witness: "Yes, it is possible that he could have been alive and practicing law somewhere."
im going to post the rest of the quotes in a new thread
Glad I read this!
I'm new to welding but regularly use a grinder on my bench and never thought about oily rags and stuff lying around. I'd better be careful in the garage I guess all it needs is a bit of hot weld splattering off onto a plastic container of turps or something!
might sound abit stupid, a bucket of water and a hose setup outside is a good tool...
i do banger racing so normally have a stripped car in the garage so weldling / grinding etc not to bad as there isn't much to go up.
but i was grinding once which i do check where they sparks go but this time i didn't went into a bin full of rubbish which had a few rags covered in petrol, up it went lucky i could see it and managed to chuck a bucket of water in the bin!!!!!
best thing to use, damp towel, bucket of water "watch your eletrics!!!!!" and a hose outside.
The google ad is at the bottom of the thread, but you only see them when you're not logged in. The ad was on the bottom of page 2 but its since changed, just had a chuckle when I saw it
There are some ads at the bottom for people who don't want to take part in the forum (non-members). It's a neat way of not having to pay for the forum hosting.
Though why not tick the remember me box when you sign in? Would save signing in all the time and the risk of losing any post that takes more than an hour to write.
