The Cannondale Lefty's have been around for quite a few years and not strictly a "fork" to the front wheel.

Interesting design in that link though. Suspect it'll be like having front suspension with the flex in that arrangement.

Ive seen one of those snap at a National XC race At Newnham Park,race was only a few minutes in rider went through a river crossing and bam fork failed
,i ride a Cannondale scalpel myself but have a Fox Vanilla fork fitted.

saying that USE make the SUB, that is a single sided fork as well it is a 4" travel fork, but acts like an 8" fork going down hill. i would like to try one.
