I run a (yellow) '98 smiley swb transit 150 with the uprated diff - 5.2 GTW - for towing. 55mph top speed.
just failed MOT (today) on a bit of welding - but that's just a bit of mig wire, and some 1mm plate + brake pipe corrosion (again, easy fix)
It passed last year with no work needing doing!
I get between 350 and 450 on a 70L tank - depends whether I'm on long trips, or about town, and insurance (4 years NCB) is about 23 quid a month, and if I go up into the dales, theres enough room to kip even with the push bike inside.
