Here are a few of my butt welds on a french car with its thin steel. I did blow a few holes because i couldn't reach behind it with my home made copper tool.
I do find it hard to weld in tight corners and on L shaped areas, i did not remove the suspension so space was tight. I have ground down the top of the welds to make it neater. I shall be painting rust bullet paint on top to stop rust and give it protection, i might put some stonechip on top of that.
These are a few of my very first butt welding on a car itself, which is always harder. I know its not all very neat but tbh im quite happy with them, i can only get better the more i do.
