Hello chaps, and season's greetings to one and all. Once again, I seek the wisdom of yourselves.
Firstly, I have a small touring caravan that's surplus to requirements. I bought it 2 years ago when it looked like I might have to find work away from home, but then returned to heavy haulage (which ironically keeps me away from home most weeks
). What's the best way to get rid? I haven't really got the time to break it up for the chassis so would fleabay be the best bet??
Secondly, I've acquired 2 steel 5 galleon jerry cans which smell as if they've been used to carry fuel of some sort. What's good for cleaning them out? I intend to fill one with diesel and keep it on my lorry for emergency purposes. (sadly, fuel theft from lorries is at eperdemic levels and as I'm sometimes forced to "overnight" in less then salubrious areas, a spare 5 galleon would make me feel a whole lot safer. Having your tank emptied is bad enough but add to it the cost of calling someone out to bring some diesel and it starts to get silly

)
Thanks, as always, in advance.
Martyn.
