a few Q on my migmate

hello, i have a migmate 150 turbo ,i have never used it new to the welding

game , i need to no what wire to buy for auto work and light metal work say

up to 3mm !!

also what gas is the best , i only have the standard regulator that takes,

i suppose the little throw away bottles ?

If you're mainly doing auto stuff then go for 0.6mm wire but if you're mainly using it on 3mm steel then ideally you'd use 0.8mm.
Regarding gas, argon/co2 mix all the way . You may find there's a non-rental agent near you who can set you up with a refillable one, it's much more economical than disposables.

It should take a 5kg one but you'll probably need a spindle adapter.
