Hi all,
Just writing in to say be careful and don't do what I did.
I was witnessing the welding of some test pieces for EN 9606-1, and for got to tell the welders to do a stop and start on both the root and capping run.
Take it easy on me, it's my first time doing this.
Anyway, here are the details:
Joint type-T-joint with edge prep 40°
Weld type-Butt-partial pen
Material-15mm plate
PA position.
