7mm Borescope

I bought one of the Ebay borescopes, head is only 7mm dia and has 6 LED lights for illumination, However when plugged into my Mac laptop via USB can't find out how to make it work, Any idea's . Info says ok for pc and mac. it came with a small 50mm disc, but the laptop doesn't have a cd drawer, just a slot to take full size discs. Borescope only cost around £7-00, but otherwise seems to br decent quality.

Could you find a driver on the manufacturers website and download it, or if you know someone that can extract the files of the mini disc and burn it to a cd or even email it to you.

Hi Paul, Cant find any info on the scope or packaging, Usually if I connect something it will show up in the finder file thingy and then open it from there, but this scope doesn't appear anywhere, My have to try the burn to a cd option, Desktop computer only has a cd slot too,

If you can centre the disc in the drawer I think the reader will still pick it up; the centre boss has a magnetic clamp to grip the disc while it spins.
Otherwise I think you can get an adapter into which the mini disc clips.

The CD drawer should have an inner recess for small discs. every one I've ever had or fitted has.

I think Gordon means just a slot no drawer?

Ah, I missed that.
You used to be able to get adapters that you'd fit the mini CDs into but they don't seem to be easy to find anymore.

@gordon stephenson, try these drivers and see if they work.
Obviously run a virus scan on the zip file, my scan came up clean but best to double check.

can you not get somebody to copy it to a normal disc?.

Or put in in another pc and email the drivers over.

I have a similar Super Eyes camera if you want a copy of the software Gordon. Mine ran ok using the Microsoft scanner and camera application.
