Do you mean 7018 electrodes generally or the Bohler fox ev50-w specifically?don't worry about rods going damp it's a load

I prefer 6011 or 6010 for tacking, as they don't deposit much metal, and melting them inGood electrodes but a PITA sometimes as they don't want to restrike and you have to knock or file off the flux on the rod tip, better off using 6013 for tacking up anthing.
I've never had a Teflon coated frying pan that stayed coated for very long. What's more concerning is the amount of PTFE based lubricants and sliding surfaces now used in food production, food which is then obviously cooked.
anyone know of anywhere selling decent 7018 rods that will post without pulling my pants down, my local suppliers can be hard work at the best of times (i have to explain that there are way more rods out there apart from 2.4 3,2 6013 )
if i explain exactly what i want one will order them in.
but just been quoted £16 for 4 vac packed 7018 rods, 4 rods for £16, £4 a rod and thats all they can get wtaf
admittedly i would rather smaller sealed packs, but jesus wept £4 each
