Use the post service then,we’ll hope it’s possible,I’m going to try,we’re 17 miles from a range. For £7 as a spare...tempting...it'd cost me more in fuel to get to the nearest Range!

I've still got one of those. It hasn't had a hard life and is still working after about 20 years.I have a 4 1/2" grinder bought from Makro years back when they were pedalling Nu-Tool I think it was. This one however is labelled "BUDGET". Vibrates a good bit more than my favourite Bosch but tbh it's done loads of graft.
The blade stop button thing failed years ago but it keeps going.
WIRE WHEEL!!Always have one with a slitting disc, one with a flap and an older one with a grinding stone
Saves time changing them
Can’t stand wire wheels on grindersWIRE WHEEL!!
Why no wire wheel? Best thing ever
Agree about one for each process though. However if I were looking to spend £80+ on a 115 grinder I'd get or three of the Guild ones
+ one for the cheepies, you just never know; I bought a cheepie "Guild" (£13 in a homebase sale) for the numpties on a job, turns out it's as good as the Makitas, the Metabo, the Hikoki and way way better than the v carp Bosch, each of which cost at least five times as much. I love the deadman's switch on the Guild especially in comparison to the switch on the Makita which is tricky and in spite of numptie's best efforts they couldn't break it and it still does a great job daily.
Know what you mean, they do like to share themselves about. Can’t stand wire wheels on grinders
Die grinder or drill as I hate picking them out of your chest
Just check that they're not the ones made in Russia, the gearbox grease doesn't last, maybe that's why they're discounted? For £35

I'm afraid it was too late for mine & all the others have just kept chugging along without any interference. It hadn't even occurred to me that I should be checking them... but tomorrow 1st thing, there'll be an inspection & full grinders will have gearboxes checked for graunchiness.Soon change that, when I remember,I replace the grease in all of mine.the website now has Sabre listed grinders at £3.14!

After all the excitement of the Aldi Ferrex tools I bought some to try out
Massive disappointment, the drill couldn't drill a 40mm holesaw into wood. For comparison my old (non brushless) 18v Makita would regularly drill 127mm holes without complaint, the new brushless one absolutely flew through
Surely they can't be that under-powered?
