Only if it's a tubeless rim, with the grooves in the wheel well. Is it Landrover related?

Safer not to use a tube, if you get a puncture the tyre will deflate a lot quicker than with a tubeless tyre

MTRs? Ace tyres had them on the navara and 90. Did 38k fitted to the navara with them on sold still with 12mm of tread.

Possibly fine, early 110 rims were tube type. Later defenders versions had the ridge needed to stop a tubeless tyre slipping into the wheel well. When you have photos, please share.

Land rover wheels usually have their part number on them and it is worth checking as series and defender steels look similar and some are tubeless wheels and some are tube wheels

Series rim on the right, defender wolf on the left. Can you see the ridges on the wolf rim? Best practice would suggest you need these ridges to run tubeless. Some say it's fine without, you can discuss with your insurance company yourself.
Some tubeless tyres are fine to cope with tubes, some aren't. It depends on the manufacturer. If you do go the tube route, always ensure there are no labels inside the tyre, and use Michelin air stop tubes. Also check the size of the valve peg hole, you might need an adapter, depending on the size.

Most of the really old series landy rims designed to run tubes have a valve hole way to big to fit a standard tubeless valve and would struggle to hold air in tubeless format anyway, folk running older series landys have either swapped over to later tubeless rims/tyres or they are running authentic tyre/tube combos.

It can be hard to find tubes that fit the wider valve peg holes. Adapters are available.

Some are both. I think some BF Goodrich are both, allows you to use a tube when the tyre gets punctured away from civilisation.

Will check the tyres tomorrow
I dropped the wheels off at the blaster earlier and was in a rush
they do look like the ones on the right that @Wildefalcon showed the picture of
they came off a 110 a very very early one ten not a defender
hopefully they will fit the tyres I have with out tubes will have to wait until Monday

Typically they don’t show prices on there website so will wait until they are blasted and make my mind up from there
I take it if they are series rims it’s a no go to fit them to a discovery

MK 1 disco is same PCD and should fit

that’s exactly the wheel I wanted and thought I had
