Last ones i used in that size were monel for use on a boat mast. I got them from Sea Screw, they do them in stainless as well.

I bet that they are 6.35 mm or 1/4 inch
how many do you need?
the ones used for coach building/truck bodies are monobolts...you do get them countersunk stainless - never tried to put them in with lazy tongs but maybe possible...you'd need to order 50 or maybe a full box!...they're not cheap

Look up "monobolts" or structural rivets.
I have a pair of these which are supposed to set up to 6.4mm steel rivets (they set 4.8mm stainless rivets easily):
Thanks @Keith 66 @smashweld and @Moose McAlpine. It didn’t occur to me to search Monobolts despite my exploits with various Avdel products (see my Avdelok threads!). Is there a special setting tool for these or will the riveter linked above be ok?

The also use them on early VW inner door cards - some locks on Renault cars.
I got a set of these to pull them in with.

monobolts have a counterbore on the head and (by rights) need a specific tip...I've put loads of them in with a flat tip on an air gun without a problem but sometimes the stem protrudes out from the head after breaking off, needed to level them off with a finger file... been a while but I THINK it was mostly a problem with countersunk versions...maybe the thickness of materials used makes a difference
will do some tests and report back...

I just lent one of these to my youngest, he then messaged me to say the rivets didn't fit but he could just about set them with his own rivet tool
I missed this message but the caught the next one where he realised the different sized tools were in the bottom of the collecting pot
just after he had set 40 or so with his simple squeezy toolAt least his muscles got a workout

Paint sprayer opposite me has a cheaper version of this riveter from ebay - it has rotating head - it has done loads of work and was only about £15.
The Sealey one itself looks like a clone of the Beta one I have. I suspect I may have paid for the name! (Although it’s a bloody good tool so I don’t mind).
