This thread is okay as well!!!
But seriously, more amazing work!!
Something bugging me Steve, what are those two neg/pos cap offs on the rear skirt ?
is this the throttle or the choke? or acceleration pump?why does one bank cut in before the other?
ah i see and your not bothered by the imbalance, i suppose a big v8 is hardly going to notice anything, but at wide open throttle how do you get them both flat out? different leaver lengths on the throttle or is it of no importance? i wish i had all your tooling,im stuck painting a car in a 9x20 shed
ah ha ha!
looking great!....very skillful....jealous!

Gutted! I feel your pain as I also have several scrap bottom ends lying around 2 of which I tried to get machined in the past only to be told they have the same problem.
On the plus side there must be plenty more motors out there, perhaps it's fate and something more awesome will turn up. Top class work on this; so meticulous! Truly humbling and easily the sexiest project I have seen. I would love to get into hodrods eventually once I graduate from scrappy drifters!
