Hello Happy Christmas and a new year to every one. Right I'm having a play in the garage with 8mm thickness plate using 6010 rods for the root. Make of rod is c-10 Nikki. 2.5. Amperage is 63 with 2.5 landing and gap at 2.5. I 've been using a small whipping action up and down. There's 2/3mm of reinforcement at back of vertical plate but the appearance of the beed seems to be very rippley. Is this because of the rods fast freeze nature. Ive tried a small circular motion that seems alot neater. Would this matter if I were to do a test. Given my stop/starts were ok and reinforcement was to a good standard. It's just the visual appearance concerns me. The beed looks uniformed but rippley. Should I be concerned about this. Thanks for any help.
