So I was asked to do a six run multi pass fillet on a fiat t-joint. It looked ok visually but worried it won’t pass x-ray.
I did the first three runs ok. One in the corner one in the flat and one in the neck. It was now time to put my 3 capping runs on top of the first three runs.
when I went to put the fourth run down overlapping the second run on the flat. I noticed there was a bit of a valley. Does that weld have to melt in to where the second and third weld meet or does it matter. It looked ok when I filled the valley in anyway on my fifth run anyway.
