4VRA Magneto. Anyone use them?

I've got an old 1940s Lifeboat engine that uses a 4VRA Lucas Magneto but the cap was cracked and the innards a little corroded. Does anyone know where to find a new cap? No sign of them in Google etc. Were they used on any other vehicles? Military or Agricultural?

Bonus poinrs if you can name the engine or say where else you could find that block.

Any pointers would be welcomed.

i think the mag was used in a few diff applications, mainly agri, but it escapes me as to what or where

edit- buyexmilitarysurplus has a full mag for just shy of 700 quid!

Is that a coventry climax motor? They were originally fire engine pump engines, but were tough little sods and responded well to tuning and went on to see service in racing circles, and in lotus and some other cars too!

It's a Morris Minor engine block from about 1950.

It is? the dizzy looks in the wrong place to be a USHM engine block because the drive for them came out the top of the cylinder head and it sat on top, though I'm no expert, my moggie van had a A series in it...

The only other option I can see is to make up a pulley to run an alternator and convert to a standard distributor. This engine has a simple Epicyclic gearbox with just FWD-idle-REV and would run without batteries etc. so getting it to run on a Mag would be nice.
