So, I bought this crazy little trike, powered by a Reliant 850cc engine, and it goes okay, looks pretty cool, but it is real hard work through the bends, requires a lot of pressure into the handlebars.
The problem is the steering geometry, it’s got standard motorcycle forks, angled over at 45°, which means it has about 8” too much trail.
I have this plan to possibly build some sort of leading link front end. I’d like to use the stock bike yokes and steering stem, just to make things easier, but finding tube that fits them in the above size is a dilemma. Sourcing some old forks legs that are 6” longer would be ideal, but probably not easy.
43mm OD tube/pipe, any suggestions?
