3mm sheet prices?

How much are people paying for 3mm sheet steel? Ive been quoted £70+ vat for 1250mm x 2500mm sheets. If anyone knows anywhere its cheaper please let me know I need 20 sheets.

Per 2500 x 1250 x 3mm S275JR we pay £38 ea inc del at the moment.
Anywhere from £30/32 usually. Steel prices have gone up recently.

About the same here and that’s with Island ‘taxes’ I order a few mind

that is plus vat

How much did they charge you for shearing?

No idea, think anything reasonable is included.
Also got box and angle cut to length

For reference,

2000 x 1000 x 3 plate sheared into 500 x 1000 sections = £55.99
50 x 25 x 3 rhs cut into 3 lengths (2500mm each, total 7500mm) = 29.17
25 x 25 x 3 rhs, as above = £18.92
20 x 20 x 2 rhs, as above = £10.80
25 x 25 x 3 equal angle, as above = £8.75, think they are about 2m lengths as angle comes in shorter

All prices include vat. Interesting to see how that stacks up, guessing higher users will be a fraction of that price. Suits me as local (ayrshire steels) and happy to cut for transport.
