So, to come back to this, I've decided I'm not fannying about with capacitors, rewiring it or buying a vfd or rotary phase converter...I've got way too many projects on the go at the moment so, either tomorrow or on the weekend this pump will be up for sale, to count towards the purchase of a single phase pump.
Will make a proper sale post on here and the home workshop site I sold the 55 Crawford collets on.
Once I've finished my father's lamps, made my levelling feet and a toe jack arrangement, fixed the pillar drills speed issue, made a bench to mount pillar drill and bench grinder properly, move my remaining tool boxes into the shed and made a proper welding bench, I might get round to sorting the lathes coolant...and then I can get back to actually making things I want to make rather than need to make.
Project list is getting a bit too hectic again so think once this is all done if it doesn't amuse or intrigue me, I'm not making it
