I've got the chance of 3 phase supply in a workshop I'm moving into. The unit next door has three phase but don't use it. Western Power reckon they can take the feed through the wall and give it to me thus saving me a fortune of laying a new cable etc.
Before they give me an accurate quote for the work they want to know my power requirements. I'll only be running a small lathe (harrison M250) and a mill (probably a Bridgeport but I haven't bought one yet). Could anyone give me an idea of what I'll need to run them?
I'd like to make the workshop future proof and overspec rather than have just enough to power for the two machines though. There's a chance I'll need to buy another mill in the near future.
